(Asia), Ltd. Leveraging its experience in international market development and its skill in export logistics, the new Asian division was established to capitalize on the development of the hospitality and healthcare sectors in China and the Pacific Rim and the corresponding growth of the commercial laundry industry servicing the myriad new hospitals, hotels, casinos, restaurants and other facilities. Strategically based in Hong Kong, the new division is a key element in a global strategy devised to promote consistent, long-term growth for the company independent of a maturing American market, according to Export Director Dan Koebel. "People in China and throughout the Asia-Pacific region are eager for high quality products and, ironically, they understand that often means made in the U.S.A.," says Mr. Koebel, architect of the global strategy and head of the Asian division. Launched with Class A offices alongside modern warehouse space, Tingue, Brown & Co. (Asia) is stocking a wide range of its vast line of flatwork ironer and other finishing equipment products on-site to support its partner/distributors and promote fast delivery to their laundry industry customers throughout the region.
