Talley Machinery To Introduce Right Hand Drive Conversion At Clean '07 That Reduces Ironer Parts Wear And Cuts Electric Bills

New Soft Start Feature Virtually Eliminates Parts Wear During Startup

Talley Innovation Provides Speed Control To Cut Energy Use
At Idle, Low Speeds

Saddle Brook, NJ: A new right hand drive conversion for flatwork ironers from Talley Machinery Corp., Greensboro, NC, virtually eliminates parts wear during startup while reducing energy consumption and cutting electric bills. To be introduced at Clean '07 booth #1809 in Las Vegas, Nev. on June 11th, the new Talley right hand drive conversion features a breakthrough soft start inverter drive system that gradually increases the speed over a period of several seconds at startup to safeguard sprockets, gears and other drive system components from the damaging wear caused during abrupt startups by ordinary conventional drive systems. Furthermore, by starting at zero RPM, the right hand drive conversion may be used to slowly add speed manually and eliminate the potential for costly wear almost entirely.

Designed for laundry managers concerned with reducing costs and extending ironer life, the Talley right hand drive conversion and its soft start feature reduce the starting current required while minimizing peak usage electricity for direct savings on energy costs. In addition, the Talley right hand drive conversion provides unprecedented control over the speed of operation from zero RPM through maximum RPM to permit further reductions in power consumption when the ironer is idle or running at low speeds.

The Talley right hand drive conversion is ideal for retrofit on American ironers. It includes an easy to operate, color-coded control panel and can be installed in a few hours.
